Assemblies of God in India
What We Believe
At Glory Generation Church, we are a Spirit-filled, Bible-believing Pentecostal church committed to helping people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live empowered by the Holy Spirit.
We are proud to be a church affiliated with the Assemblies of God in India, sharing the historic Christian faith and the biblical convictions of the worldwide Assemblies of God fellowship. Our beliefs are rooted in the Bible and are consistent with the Assemblies of God's 16 Fundamental Truths.
The Bible
The Bible is God's inspired, trustworthy, and authoritative Word. It is our foundation for faith, life, and practice.
One True God
There is one eternal God who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three Persons, perfectly united as one God.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose again bodily, ascended to heaven, and will return again in glory.
Salvation
Every person has sinned and needs God's forgiveness. Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through Him we receive forgiveness, new life, and the hope of eternal life.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit lives within every believer, transforming us into the likeness of Christ and empowering us to live a life that honors God.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe that every believer can experience the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, an empowering work of God that equips us for bold Christian living, effective witness, and ministry. As taught in the Scriptures, the initial physical evidence of this experience is speaking in other tongues as the Spirit enables.
Spiritual Gifts
We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today and are given to build up the Church, serve others, and bring glory to Jesus Christ.
Water Baptism
We believe that every believer should be baptized by immersion in water as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.
Holy Communion
We celebrate the Lord's Supper in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice until He returns.
Healing
We believe that Jesus Christ still heals today. We pray in faith for God's healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—while trusting in His perfect will.
The Church
The Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, make disciples, love people, serve the community, and proclaim the Good News of Jesus to every nation.
Holy Living
God calls every believer to live a life of holiness, integrity, love, humility, and obedience through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Christ's Return
We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. This is our blessed hope and motivates us to live faithfully and expectantly.
Eternal Hope
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and God's promise of a new heaven and a new earth where those who trust in Christ will live with Him forever.
Our Foundation
Our beliefs are firmly rooted in the Holy Scriptures and are in agreement with the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God.
As a church affiliated with the Assemblies of God in India, we are committed to biblical truth, the power of the Holy Spirit, Christ-centered discipleship, and sharing the Gospel with our city, our nation, and the world.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”— Hebrews 13:8
